Speaking for myself, being an entrepreneur is the only way to go when it comes to job satisfaction. Even working twice as much for half the pay sounds good to me if I'm running the whole shebang. Don't get me wrong. I don't want to be a big shot with his own company bossing around a team of executives who in turn boss around a bunch of other people. That's not for me at all. On the hand, even worse is being one of minions of peons in such a company (no offense), even if I was making 'the big money' off of lots of juicy commissions.

I like to talk to people. I don't like trying to persuade people though; it wears me out. What I love most of all is talking to sellers and buyers in foreign countries. Then it's really fun to make a giant purchase or two and more less be with the product as it's being shipped. This is the only snag with the job: if the product arrives somehow short of expectations. Then the job can be a bummer. But usually that doesn't happen.

The only other problem in buying and selling things for a profit, for oneself, is if you don't know prices. You should always know the lowest price, the highest price, and the reasonable price of goods before you buy them. You see, in some countries it is simply a custom to haggle.
